Butch Arenivaz, Knights of Columbus fund drive chairman, presents a check for $1,023.09 to Marline Rankin, manager of the Chino Valley facilities of the Intermountain Center for Human Development. The Center takes care of the needs and education of people with intellectual disabilities. Every fall the Knights conduct a fund drive, "The Tootsie Roll Drive," as they hand out tootsie rolls in thanks for donations. The Knights wish to thank the people of Chino Valley who so generously donated their hard-earned money for this cause.

Congratulations to both of these fine organizations for joining together in such a worthy endeavor. Interestingly, the ICHD and the KofC, both longtime members of the Chino Valley community, seem to fly "below the radar" and operate virtually unnoticed, while continuing to serve the needs of the local at-risk population.

The Chino Valley Knights have been lending their support to the ICHD for more than 15 years, and are honored to be counted among those who work toward making a difference in the lives of those of us who are most in need. Again, Congratulations and continued success to both of these outstanding organizations, for making Chino Valley a better place for everyone!
