Heroes & Horses program offers open house

The public is welcome to an open house for the Heroes & Horses program at Horses with Heart from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on March 1, to learn about this new program for veterans. This program is in alignment with the PATH International Equine Services for Heroes Program in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project and in partnership with the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic.

The Open House offers an opportunity to learn more about the program, visit one-on-one, have some coffee and snacks, watch the organization's Special Olympics riders at their first sessions of the year, tour the facilities, and stay for 10 minutes or two hours. Open to veterans of all ages and veterans organizations plus veteran volunteers. Visit www.horseswithheart.org for more information.
