Bargain hunters were not disappointed this past weekend as they poured over the treasures offered at the Saving Grace Lutheran Church yard sale.

The sale, held both Friday and Saturday, featured everything from porcelain figurines, classic vinyl records, ten-cent books, and a wide variety of new and used clothing.

"We've got just about everything," said volunteer Jeannine Irwin, who had her eye on a few items early on Friday. "I won't buy anything until the last customers are gone though, I want to make sure the public gets first choice."

Pastor Larry Paul said the church holds at least two of these sales every year and divides the proceeds between various church projects and good causes in the community.

Paul said this weekend's dollars will benefit the Chino Valley Children's Library summer reading program.

Saving Grace volunteers will be conducting the next big yard sale event near the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Saving Grace Lutheran is located at 2607 S. Highway 89 near the Chino Golf Range - Drive in the Sky, just south of the roundabout at Outer Loop Road.
