Chino Valley and Paulden 'fall festivals' offer area residents, visitors plenty of harvest fun

Oct. 1-31

Freeman Farms "Pumpkin Festival" (Sat. and Sun only) 9 a.m.to 5 p.m., on the corner of Road 3 S. and Road 1 E. Rides, games, food, fun, and pick your own pumpkins.

•Oct. 27

Chino Valley United Methodist Church, 735 E. Road 1 S will be having a "Fall Festival" from 4-8 p.m. including dinner, games, and music.

•Oct. 29,30,31

Chino Valley Children's Library,1020 W. Palomino will be having a "Pumpkin Party" at 10:30 a.m. Monday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. on Tuesday. This is for children aged 1 to 5 years. Includes games, stories, and goodies. Costumes optional. Call 636-9115.

• Oct. 31

First Southern Baptist Church, 1524 N. Highway 89,Chino Valley is having a free "Harvest Festival" from 5 to 7 p.m. Fun includes hay rides, a jumping castle, games, face painting, family photos, prizes, a cup-cake walk, candy, soda, chips and Sloppy Joes for everyone. Call 636-2014.

•Oct. 31

"Family Friendly Halloween Village" at Chino Valley Community Park on Road 1 E. First 500 people through the gate get a free Trick or Treat bag. Come in costume and get all the candy you want.
