Former Chino resident earns Army's 'Bulldog Warrior of the Week'
U.S. Army Private First Class Nick Seaman was promoted to Specialist after earning the Bulldog Warrior of the Week award for the following action in northern Afghanistan, where he currently is serving with the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne in the Air Assault Division.

Gretchen Skinner of Chino Valley leads a "fowl" life, fowl as in chickens, ducks and turkeys.

After moving here in 2000 with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Emily, Gretchen started obtaining her birds. Son, Soren, was born in 2001.
