Sheriff's deputies are going door to door issuing evacuation orders in areas of Williamson Valley in the path of the Doce Fire. Here, evacuees gather at the Texaco Station at the intersection of Outer Loop Road and Williamson Valley Road.

go to the yavapai county sheriff's website and sign up for code red alerts... if you have your phone listed in the white pages you're already in the system to get calls (they say) but can' t hurt to register for emergency alerts!

Why won't anyone tell us if we might need to leave or any precautions that we should take.
I live in Chino Valley and I have called the number provided on this website to get information and NO answer.
I am disabled and I need to know if the fire is comming towards us or away from us.
Please be more exact in your information,and help us be more informed.
Thank you for your time Editor's note: We are monitoring all evacuations and will post any news that we get. Emergency personnel in Chino Valley are watching the fire closely and will announce any needed steps. If you still can't get information, the Chino Valley Police or Fire District will have current evacuation information.
