UPDATE: The Review received information on press deadline that following a tip from an unnamed source, Cody Wilkins, 22, was arrested on two counts of Theft of Services on Friday, May 10. He was located in Chino Valley and remains in custody. The female passenger has been identified and the investigation into her involvement, if any, is ongoing.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is looking for two people who have stolen gas on two occasions from the "Pink Store," 23310 Highway 89 in Paulden. The thefts, one on April 24 totalling $65, and another on May 8 with a loss of $72, involved a male and female. In both cases, the male suspect was able to pump gas prior to payment and leave. In one of the thefts, a female accomplice entered the store to purchase a drink while the male suspect pumped gas.
The suspect vehicle is described as a 1990s maroon Chevy pickup with an extended cab and no tailgate. The male suspect is in his mid to late 20s with dark hair, high forehead, wearing black rimmed glasses. The female is in her late teens or early 20s with red hair.
