Honoring Korean War veterans
Forty five veterans and their wives attended from the quad-city area, and as far away as Cordes Junction.  All five military services were represented and all spoke of their service.  Each veterans was given a pin by the Post commemorating the day and to thank them for their service. Commander Mel Vinson said, "This may be America's forgotten war, but these are not America's forgotten warriors."
