Chino Valley resident Toby McMains worked for a decade in the excavation business, before starting a new career as a Chino Valley firefighter at 27.

When Toby McMains graduated from Chino Valley High School in 2001, he thought his future was planned out. He thought he would enter into the excavation business, working alongside his father in business his family had started in 1970.
