News briefs: Census bureau seeks census-takers

The US Census Bureau is currently accepting applications for temporary census-takes for the 2010 Census.

Census takes will be conducting personal interviews with respondents who failed to return their 2010 Census questionnaire, and recording their responses on paper forms. Testing sites in the Chino Valley /Paulden area have been set up. You may qualify for a position with the Census if you are a US citizen, at least 18 years old at the time of hire, pass a written 28 question test and pass a background check.
