News Briefs: Child care course starts Dec. 4

Yavapai College, in conjunction with Arizona Department of Economic Security, will conduct a no-cost intensive introductory course, titled "Early Child Care Professional Training." The class will meet at Yavapai College 1100 E. Sheldon St. in Prescott beginning Dec 4

The 60-hour course is designed for those interested in pursuing careers working in child-care centers, pre-schools, Head Start programs or in-home child care.

The classes meet Fridays and Saturdays December 4 & 5, 11 & 12, 18 & 19, January 8 & 9, 15 & 16 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Seating is limited to 20 participants, and preregistration is strongly recommended. Call toll free 1-866-219-1021 or email: ccpt@yc.edu for more information and to register.
