Members of the Chino Valley Mayor's Ad Hoc Economic Development Committee Tuesday will see a slideshow Town Manager Jerry Stricklin prepared showing how Wickenburg developed its downtown area.
The committee meets at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Council Chambers at 1020 W. Palomino Road.
Other items on the agenda include:
• A report by Ab Jackson, Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce CEO, on discussions with LaTonya Finch from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
• A report from committee members on discussions they had with large landowners off Perkinsville Road on a possible land lease for a solar farm.
• A discussion on perquisites and incentives for prospective businesses to promote economic development in Chino Valley that the committee may want to recommend to the Town Council.
• A presentation of photographs from committee members pertaining to branding and the use of branding in the development of a proposed downtown for Chino Valley.
